1/8 Time Slips
Okay so I wanna be ready for the 1/4 miles next weekend. I went out to the Irwindale Speedway 1/8 mile drag and got 3 runs in. Here are the numbers
R/T .865 1.644 .000
60' 2.545 2.519 4.817
330 6.940 6.866 9.347
1/8 10.653 10.466 13.146
mph 58.18 65.42 58.48
Run 1- Against a '94 accord LX. He had me off the line but I got him in the end eventhough I started to slow down before the end because I had not ran that track before and was a bit confused. His numbers are
.600-2.640-7.328-63.44
Run 2-Against a Teg LS 94-95ish . Got him by two cars his numbers are
.624-3.396-8.186-12.052-61.73
Run 3- Against a 90ish Teg. I had traction problems in the begining and lost. His numbers are
.931-2.452-6.780-10.558-65.60
I was launching from 3k at first but then dropped down to about 2.5k after I was loosing traction. Tires were at 25psi and no jack or spare with me. Of course im gutted and only run with dash, carpet, two front seats and back seat. Gonna head out to the California Speedway on the 27th so I will post those slips as well. Next on the agend, LSD or JDM h22a tranny for traction.

Re: 1/8 Time Slips (wansumadisVTEC)
what's your car setup??? Those sound like 16 second 1/4 mile times to me, maybe high 15's. Work on your launching technique and drop your tire pressure a couple PSI (more if it seems to help) and make sure you feather the clutch off the line to keep RPM's up and wheelspin to a minimum.

Yeah what's your setup? I ran a 10.1 with my 99 Si, with only an intake and 16" wheels. And that was my second time racing at a track. I never ran the 1/4 mile, but I'm sure it was high 15's or low 16's.
