Tons of people have removed it (myself included), but, has anyone seen it replaced or put the windshield tape back on themselves?

Curious to know the level of difficulty this is.

 

I think that it is just black vynil. i cant imagine it being too difficult, just need a heat gun and some squeegies (i know i can't spell)

yeah...yeah...


It would look much better on my Suzuka if I had a blue hardtop. But I don't and I have been thinking about a black hardtop instead which is why I would like my tape back on.


who knows...maybe I will do nothing. lol

 

it will be hard as hell to get the tape back on because you'll need to make sure that the tape ends lie underneath the windshield seals. My suggestion would be to just get it painted black. Probably cost you $100 to paint the windshield black.

As soon as I come up w/ a few grand. lol but that is ultimately what I want to do...stupid bills...

 

I've heard these are $100 each for the tape at Honda. There are 3 pieces = $300

nah, all three pieces are $85 total
