Weird engine noise

Weird engine noise
About two days ago my s2000 started making a grinding noise around 3000 rpm, and it now drops rpms and recovers when i stop at a light, what can be causing this noise? heres a link to a video of it grinding

Doesnt sound like grinding to me, but that might just be because its a video and Im not in front of the car. From the video, it sounds like a fuel injector failing to spray or doing bursts of spray.

That might be true and might explain why I hear the spitting. Have you opened the engine up at all? I bet you have some burnt scoring under your valve cover.

Exactly, sound like a vibration of a part at a specific rpm, harmonic resonance of a certain material or parts at specifid rpm.
Injector problem don't make rpm increase that regular.
Also, the TCT may be a cause, hard to tell on this video.
Swap for a brand new, modify this one by InlinePRO or billman or make de DIY repair on your unit.
This repair is from $0 to about $160.
