Default weight

How much weight would you save if you removed the soft top with all the motors and just installed the hard top?

- soft top + frame + motors = around 65lbs
- hardtop = 44lbs + hardware

so you save roughtly 20lbs by ripping the soft top assembly out and installing a hardtop.

that's assuming you go with the oem hardtop.

mugen carbon fiber top is 22lbs. spoon is a tad lighter than that.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you'd be wrong. The mugen FRP weighs in roughly the same weight as the OEM at around 44lbs. As for the Mugen carbon fiber top, it comes in at a whopping 34lbs, NOT 22lbs.
