Watch your wheels.....
Just wanted to let everyone know to watch their wheels. My fiance and I had our rims and tires stolen last week. Our S was left on bricks. So watch out. It would have cost us $3800.00 to replace. So just some info. WATCH OUT!!!

Yes, I would check your regional forum over @ s2ki.com for some local wheels. If your insurance company is going to hook it up, get some aftermarket wheels.

Damn you work at a dealership and they won't cut you a deal off the MSRP on the wheels? Thats screwed up. If you really want stockers for some reason (dunno why if insurance is willing to cough up 3800 for stocks an some S0-2's), just get em from Majestic Honda. Online their price to customers is around 370 a wheel, then Tire Rack has the stock S0-2 s for (144/165 respectively) and you're out the door for bout $2100 excluding shipping
So if insurance is paying an extra 1700, why not get some Volks and better tires? Might I suggest CE28N's and SO-3s?

No it is not that they won't hook it up. They charged regular price to the insurance company, not me. We can't really go aftermarket on the S. We are leasing it. And i liked the old wheels. Oh well, I just can't wait to get my car back.

Sorry to hear abou that...I had a client with a 2000 GS-R and her wheels got stolen while there was like 20 other cars in her Condo parking lot..They left the car on two blocks...And she had to fight for insurance to pay for the wheels and tires.

Insurance companies always buy brand new OEM parts from dealers unless their shady. So $3000+ for S2000 wheels isn't hard to believe.
Most people just get the check, then buy aftermarket wheels.

Well we would have but we are leasing so that doesn't help too much. And I liked the stock rims. Would have rather gotten 04's. Oh well. Thanks. And if we ever do find this person I will personally rip his %#@& off myself. And that is coming from a woman.
