if my car is still under factory warrenty can i tak eit in to go get it looked at for free or will it cost anything for it to be looked at, the reason being im driving and it get only 200 miles on a full tank, and im driving normal and not mashing on it

 

what kind of gas are you using?

and define normally? do you ever go over 5K rpms?

 

Shouldn't cost anything just for them to take a look. But when they start messing with stuff that's when you have to pay for labor, parts, etc.

It's different with a lot of dealerships.

average? For a tank, I can swing 200-220 if I'm driving spirited quite a bit. most I've ever managed out of a tank was 29.5 mpg and that was on a long road trip, between 70-80mph. at the track, somewhere between 8 and 9mpg.

 

We usually get about 20-25 any given week driving our car like we always do (sometimes just cruising, sometimes running it up into the high powerband, stop and go traffic, etc etc etc)...so really, i wouldnt be all that concerned, it aint a civic.
