What is it about the F20c/f22c that makes it have such a different sound?

I know it's hondas best engineered engine, but what is it that gives it the sound we all grew to love?

All of its glory put aside, it is just another 4 cyl N/A engine.

So what gives it that perfect exhaust note?

 

the design of the exhaust, the head, and the specs of the cams

 

Cams, header, exhaust.

 

amen, its like music to ones ears..

 

its all in the head design... the FLOW of the exhaust gases

 

yeah tats true , the sound so smooth .... it is music ,i believe.
