is this true?

my friend told me that the first s 2000s are faster than the ones out now like the cars that had come out in 2000 is that true and why?

Actually the '02's an up tend to be SLIGHTLY faster because the ECU was remapped to gain a couple of HP.

I think they are so close that there really isn't a difference. I've driven an 02 and own an 00. Both cars are rated at 240hp and have the same torque...although it escapes me as to what that is right now...

there are rumors that 02+ s2k's put down 5whp+ more than the 00-01 versions.
