Any chance you have a link to that thread? 30wtq is unbeleiveable to me unless his car was running like a turd to begin with and he was on a Dynapack dyno. Then again, I'm not an S2K expert. Just looking for information. Thanks.

just because its a dynapak does not mean it reads high...

For the most part, the dynapack dynos do along with dynojets. Most accurate dynos are generally the Mustang and DynoDynamics...there are always exceptions though. From our tests, we found that there was about an 11% difference between the Mustang at the shop I'm at and a local Dynojet, even moreso on a Dynapack. But like I said there's always exceptions. I remember hearing the reasoning behind that is that the Mustang and DynoDynamic dynos give load, or calculate in load as if you were on the street, and the other two just read how fast you rev. Or something like that its been a while. Anyways, on most of the sheets I've seen prove this by the dynojet and dynapack dynos torque and HP curves not crossing at 5252rpm as someone else elaborated on.
Sorry for the OT

It's all relative...practically no dyno reads 100% correct. Example of our testing...I went to a local shop with a dynojet dyno, made 159whp with the h22 (No it didn't run perfrect at the time). From there I drove right back down to the shop I worked on, hopped on the Mustang dyno, let the car cool down, checked the temps to make sure they were similar, and made 142whp. Plenty of people in the area have had similar experiences between the two shops. Even high differences with the shop with the dynapak.
