Default -topdown misery-

have you ever lost while driving with your top down? what's the most valuable thing you have lost?
has a bird ever crapped on you while you were driving? that would suck
i'm proud to say nothing has happened to me yet but now that in new england we are approaching nice weather i'm finding this likely to happen.

The only bad thing that happened to me is the uneven tan. Now I just use sunscreen on my arms and neck and it's slowly going away.

Apparently it's a common problem....

Only thing I lost was a bit of my masculinity. Putting my top down was cool at first, but I just started feeling gayer and gayer. So it stayed up most of the time.

I leave mine up most of the time too. People ask why I own a convertible. I tell them S2000s are only offered in convertibles, and also I don't buy cars for that reason.

yea my hard top stays on pretty much all the time. I might go for a spin with it off if i really get the urge. And it wont come down if I have another guy in the car lol only by myself or with a girl. The hardtop looks 100x better anyway.

why in the hell would you feel gay for having the top down? a little insecure about your sexuality?

that said, i nearly got sh*tted on when i first got my car. two drops on the hood, one huge drop on my windshield, a splatter on the headrest of my passenger seat, and a lil bit on my trunk.

Don't sleep "lil homie"!

I thought like you did at one time thinking my "natural sunblock" was enough with the top down. That was until I got a mean sunburn on my forehead. Ever since then I'm rockin' a hat with the top down. It's no fun when your skin burns, then feels like leather, and then starts peeling.

I had a few papers fly out the car with the top down but nothing major.

i heard a noise one time.... so i look around.... and as my eyes scan over to the passenger seat, i see a gigantic disgusting grasshopper sitting in the passenger seat. (background knowledge--- i HATE bugs.) im on the highway and im BUGGIN out... and as i turn to look at him again, he faces me, and decides the best idea is to jump lightning fast at my head, and as i shut my eyes, and take my hands off the wheel to swat it away like a little girl thats scared of water in a shower.. well, lets just say my life almost ended that day lol. ****** bugs.

i HATE ****** bugs

I also always have my top down, as long as its above about 55 outside. Top down is soooo much sexier. I don't understand why anyone buys hardtops? Car looks worse IMO and you can't feel the wind in your hair. Hard tops FTL.

Yeah, so far I've been lucky enough not to get **** on. I have gotten a little bit burnt, though. Not bad enough to keep me from putting my top down, however! I've had bugs, dust, and other foreign things in the car, and I almost lost my hat once going a little over the advised speed limit, but so far, I'm doin' good!

::EDIT:: Now that I think about it, I did have my arm **** on, but I was resting my elbow on the door while driving, and it would have happened with my windows down even if my top was up, so I don't know if that qualifies.
