a word of advice about tire sizing: although normally you would simply consider buying tires of another brand or model using the same tire sizing as from the factory, you should know that the Potenza S02 models that come with S2000s are specialized models made for Honda only. if you go out and buy another set of S02s without asking for the Honda S2000 model, then you will notice that they are more narrow.

in short:

- if you choose to buy S02s again, make sure you specify that they get the S02 Honda S2000 model (there are Porsche and BMW models as well). you can stick to the OEM sizing if they do get the right model.

- if you go with any other tire, you will need 225/45 in front and 245/45 in the back.

good luck

I have toyo proxes. Love the handling, but they prolly cost about the same as the SO-2. It depends on what conditions the car will be driven in. If she wants an inexpensive tire, try Kuhmo's. I had them on my teg and they were good for the money. Check http://www.tirerack.com

Kumho 712's are good street tires and cheap to boot!
