hey guys so i need to replace the two rear tires in my s2k. im keeping my stock wheels for a while so i would like to go a bit wider on the back. does anyone know whats the biggest size tire i can get. i juz went to get a quote for some. 245/45R16 and they said they would fit but i thought i check with u guys before i bought them. so if anyone could help i would appreciate it alot. thanks guys

 

a 245/45(depending on the brand/tread width) will most likely have the same contact patch as the oe 225/50's, but your headed in the right direction. most 'other than' oe 225/50's will have a much less contact patch.

 

what do u guys recomend?

 

honestly, the bridgestone so-2's. they are a bit more than others in cost, but a great tire! plus, you wont have to worry about what size your getting, and if its gonna have the right contact patch.

well i think they might also, because i went to a different one and they told me that those wouldn't fit, however the 235/45 would?
