Default timing chain

How the hell does a non-lubricated timing chain (F20C/F22C+Ks) last? Especially one that sees 9000rpm?

Who says its not lubricated? A timing BELT would never be lubricated, but the chains receive oil from the crank sprocket area and oil falling out of the cylinder head at the front...same as all other chain driven engines, such as Porsche, VW, AUDI, and many others.

Its oiled, I forget how. Ever take the valve cover off and check out the cams? The oil is there or else their would be friction.
