Im looking to pick up an s2000 soon. I've been looking at a bunch of adds and I haven't seen tilt steering listed anywhere. My co-worker took a s2000 on trade a few months back and it was a 2000 s2000. No tilt anywhere to be found. Did the s2000 come with tilt as an option?

What was going through Honda's engineers minds when they decided not to put in tilt? Oh well, I still plan on picking one up. Just kind of odd imo.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
kinda like:
- ya either learn to drive a manual...or you don't and buy another car
or
- ya either learn to shop more sparingly...or you don't and buy another car
or
- ya either learn to drive a car with low hp, quickly... or you don't and buy another car.
see where this is leading? maybe you should just buy another car?

I would have liked tilt too... but it's not the only sport cars that has no tilt. A friend of mine has a 300zx and not tilt either.
The S2000 steering setup works for me as I am not a super tall guy but I would never buy a 300zx as the steering sits too high for me I find, so it can be a show stopper for some people I guess.

oh i almost forgot to mention, the sun visors are useless 99% of the time, as they are about 3" wide and do not move from the front of the windshield.
The only time I drive the s2000 is when I am only out for the experience of driving a fun car, it is useless to me in all other circumstances like commuting, grocery getting, road tripping, surfing/snowboarding, dog transporting, etc. and I would hate to drive it daily... but im getting old.
you adjust your seating position to adjust your steering, if its really an annoyance or you feel unacceptable for comfort then it might prove to be worth it to get an aftermarket steeringwheel/hub setup.
personally for me, i've never had a problem and I'm not exactly a giant either. 5'9 and have had no problems. it's like honda designed this car for asians! kidding

^^Unless he gets a quick release or tilt system too.
No need for tilt in this car. Im 5'10, 170 lbs and it doesnt affect me.
I have an aftermarket steering wheel/hub/quick release, but NEVER use it. I only remove the steering wheel when Im in a shady area and leave the car for 5 minutes.
