saw one for $13500 with 50000 miles in Sac area, i love this car ever since it came out, i currently drive a 91 MR2 now....but i dunno if it's right to switch to another 2 seater, btw..for those who has owned this car for a long time, what are the pros and cons of this car?? thanks

 

Its a Honda so there are no cons, just pros

i would go test drive one. the space might be less then the mr2. I didn't mind daily driving the s2000 though, size wasn't an issue.

 

The only con for me (coming from a CRX) was less cargo space. Coming from an MR2... I don't think you'll have that problem.

It was also a little claustrophobic at first but I got used to that. Go test drive it and see what you think.

 

con: doesn't have the mr2 snap oversteer

 

Coming from someone who has owned a few MK1 a few MK2 and a AP1.

MR2 MK2 Cons
-Has more interior space (storage) and personal space
-Possibly more total trunk space
-Does not oversteer like the S2k
-No one will smash your roof to steal your seats

S2000 Cons
-Newer
-Seemingly more comfortable
-More HP (if your non turbo ofc)
-Easier to work on

cool...thanks for all the response...i drove couple s2k already, and i really like it a lot because of the looks and the power.....i dont think the space will the problem for a guy coming from MR2.....and yeah i realized it's easier to work on a s2k than a mr2...

 

I really really wanted to get another MK2 to drive around town with. But wanted to opt for something different so went with the S2000. I don't think you will be disappointed at all.

 

theres a guy selling his for 9500 with a clean title in SF / SAC!
