got a question i have a s2k and if i replaced my cat with a test pipe would it make any power? will i get a check engine light? everything on the car is stock.

 

you will get a lil more power (like 1-2whp), o2 simulator will fix any CEL's

 

In FI the test pipe can make a good amount of hp to the wheels as for the test pipe in NA I have only seen good numbers when with VAFC or other fuel controller.

 

You will get a little more power, and yes you will get a CEL. I have been running one for the past 2 years and just letting the light burn. The exhaust note is also a little better with the test pipe.

 

I had a test pipe on my GSR, and it was really only valuable after I had it tuned. And I had a full NA setup (cams, etc). I really dont think it is worth your money or time with an i/h/e car, which is what I assume your S2k is.

 

With an intake, header and exhaust already, you can expect to gain 4 to 5 hp with a test pipe.

I have on my S, Comptech supercharger,Toda header,Amuse dual ti exhaust, Comptech Flywheel, Spec stage 3 6wing cluth kit. Happy with it

I'm also Thinking to buy test pipe somewhere?
where I might look it??
So, is there CEL coming on?
Is there way to get it off?
