Suspension setup
just wanted to know what's a good coilover set up on the s and what's a good spring only set up. i have some JIC FLT-A2 coilovers on my wrx, i love it but my parents don't approve of the agressive ride. Anyone have experience with the tein flex and how it rides?
oh gosh.. not this question again hahahah..
i have the tein flex with edfc.. and i love them... i can make them stiff when i want and make them soft when i want at a touch of a button from my drivers seat... and yes they handle quite well, i've been though a couple of aggressive drives though some back roads and mountain roads and they handle very well...
also the drop is incredible.. you can slam the F**K out of it.....
as for other setups.. buddy club has a good setup.. lot of people have been liking these, and they have been used at the track quite heavily.... (these were my first choice but i got a killer deal on the flex with edfc)
then there's the blisten setup which i believe is close/similar to the setup amuse uses on their torge monster....
for the second setup.. a lot of people are liking ground controls with koni shocks... this i wouldn't go for .. but it does give you adjustibility on ride hight.. and how can you go wrong with koni yellows...
final setup is just springs with koni yellows.... there's a few setups with this tho... if you want to track your car heavily go with the kg/mm springs.... they are very stiff.... other springs that people have liked are the esphilers......(gives you like a 1 3/4 drop).. there's also a few people starting to get the rs-r springs (haven't heard much about these yet).. and if you want a very moddist drop you can go with the hks springs (1 inch to 1 1/4 drop..) ...
so pick the setup you want. and what you need it for and what you're looking for...
