anyone have a supercharged AP1 by any chance? I was leaning towards the Vortech kit. But as with every car i've built...reliability is a HUGE deal for me. I was wondering if Supercharging at all was a bad idea or if one kit is better than the other. Any input would help, but i'd really prefer someone with some actual real world experience. thanks guys.

 

I have a Comptech unit on my '02. No problems or complaints. I really think they are both comperable and have nothing bad to say about either unit.

 

how long have you had it on there and do you have any kind of dyno numbers by any chance? thanks

 

I had it installed last March/April. I dynoed at 300.5 HP and 181.5 lbs tq in 4th gear. After cooler, 7lb. pulley, Rick's header, Invidia test pipe, 4.77's, and Comptech exhaust as well.
