I think its stupid.
I think that props is deserved to those that do it though. Its a involved swap, theirs alot to figure out with the extra power and getting it to the wheels and to the ground.
In all honesty I want to see a sr20 swap s2000. Why no one has never done it I do not understand. An inline 4 turbo motor seems like a perfect fit.

I'm guessing one of the main reasons is that the intake/exhaust manifolds are on opposite sides?

I would rather buy a used supra...
They charge 16,000 for the swap right? That includes a stock motor? lol...Seems like a bad investment if you think about it. That doesn't even include the diff swap?
$16,000 could do a lot if you wanted to f/i the f20/22. The motor hasn't shown a sign of weakness...now the transmission and diff. that's a whole different story

you can build it any way you want.
bottom line is 16,000$ is alot for a swap. you can buy a junk supra and build it up descently for the same amount

yes its a lot... i laughed my *** off when i heard him say that... the swap isnt ****.. anyone with a lil metal know how can do it.. **** i could do it if i had everything here in front of me.
the fact of all that power is great!
but in reality who needs all that power?
bragging rights more then anything... 90% of the guys who make 800+ on there set ups dont track their cars...
but 800WHP on a stock motor sounds soooo nice..
a SR20 in a S... i rather not.. the F series is just as good of a platform if not better.
stock Sr20's can support 450 ish whp roughly...

i didnt want to do the swap just seeing what you guys thought.....i would like to see the car or drive in it to make judgement....you guys make a good point alot of that power you would not be able to use except maybe for top end
