Get GC`s, you can go as stiff as you want.

i second GC. you can get them stiff enough to where your teeth will chatter.

also remember, higher rates also means less traction on the street because of potholes and such.

Not just pot holes, but you'll get excessive amounts of wheel hop on tight corner exits where traction is very much needed.
