Default spoon throttle body??

any info on the spoon or other makes of TB's for the s2k spoon states about an 8hp gain? Worth the money or a waste????

waste...TB doesn't gain much even with port matching. Also the spoon only tapers the TB really. It is so far before the ports it wont even do anything noticable for the overall velocity going into the engine.

That thing sucks...

a lot of air. It whistles Throttle response is nuts. Solid midrange. Worth it.

I'd have to disagree a little kane. The only thing I had to match was the gasket. The IM matched up to the 66mm just right.

I should have made them seperate paragraphs. I meant most TB's don't gain anything without port matching. The spoon is just a tapered TB it doesn't actually increase the inlet diameter. The taper is there to try and increase the air velocity for response purposes mainly. The HP gains wouldn't be substantial.

Even tapered, it goes from 70 to 66mm vs. the stock 62. 10% increase in area does wonders for response.

You can press the gas 10% more and see what that does for response
