Default slave cylinder problem

Today I was installing a new slave cylinder on my 01 S2000. I was still leaking fluid after the install & decided to remove it & then reinstall it. When I removed it the shaft was locked fully extended. I tried compressing it but it would not budge. Is this normal or did I damage it while bleeding it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Default Re: slave cylinder problem

Nevermind, the boot was filled with fluid so the new slave must be shot.
