S2000 engine wires
I have a problem with my s2000. When my friends were taking out the cylinder head they had ripped off a lot of wires. (not their fault it was wrapped in electrical tape, maybe already tooken off before) Anywayz I was wondering if anyone knew where I'm able to get plug ins or do I have to take the car to honda for them to replace it or what? The wires are still there but the wires were ripped out of the connecting piece and well yeah...
You are really going to have to give us more info. Pics of the damage would help. If you take it to the dealer they will want to replace your entire engine harness + labor. Proly looking at over 1500$ for that.
well yeah i dont know I can't post up pics right now because I dont have a camera at the moment but i dont need no wires or anything I just basically need the connectors just the connectors. Hmm.. umm... im not quite sure but my friend had told me one of the wires that was ripped was to the engine temperature or something like that. but all i need to know is where to buy the things that just simply connect from 1 wire to another.

ok ok ive been searching and theres clips that have pins and receptacles in em... is that better?
only they are receptacles that u attach the wires and u put them inside the clips

lol hey man im mexican idk what they are called well except for that im not really good at cars just yet im actually just getting the experience from taking out the head and putting new valves in. Just got that done we put the head in already we are just waiting for a good day to come back to start connecting all the wires and hoses back on and checking the air compression with the 4th cylinder again and see if that fixes the problem. Hopefully it does work after i put everything back on. by the way its not the fact that my friends suck at pulling out engines but its just that the way it looks like is that the engine has been pulled out before because it had electrical tape and more **** was ghetto'd out on that car so it looks like it had problems with the engine before.
Just please dont be talking crap one of my other threads got deleted by the administrators because people were making fun of me just because I was mexican and well... just because im new with cars....

Until you can actually tell us what is damaged then we cannot help you!
If you wanna connect one wire to another you can solder and head shrink (or use electrical tape) OR you can use but connectors like these:

If the pins have been ripped out of the plugs then you will probably need to find some new plugs with pig tails (a short peice of wire(s) extending from the plug). You cannot buy the plugs at the dealer, they will only sell you the entire harness. You will need to go the junk yard and cut them off yourself or find someone online who is willing to hack up a harness (people don't like to do this).

Wait.....what? ^^^
It doesn't sound like your friends know cars too well either. Just go get a new harness cause you're engine bay is going to end up looking like a trailer park wiring job I bet with a bunch of twist on connectors.

actually it wouldn't look 2 bad, its only 2 of them that are messed up 1 of the wires ended up breaking it has 3 wires 1 of them came out with the pin... and that connects to idk what but its on the front corner of the cylinder head by the intake manifold and the other one is on the same side as the other one but its in the back.
I see some pins... Those can be put back into there respective connectors as long as there not damaged. Honestly, I think you need to find someone locally who knows what there doing and pay them to fix your car. If your near MD ill do it for you.
