Default s2000 Cold Start Issues

Hey
Im having Cold start issues on my 02 s2000. The car has 170k miles on it i know i know thats alot but its a clean title 02 and its pretty mint. I got it for a great price. Anyways back to the starting issue its starts very bad i have to tap the gas and than its ok. I got the car in crappy running shape and i have gotten it running good. I just have the last bug to fix and its the cold start up. When the car is warmed up it starts pretty good. I think its fuel related? i have replaced all the tune up parts. I cleaned the TB, IACV, Map sensor and ran a can of seafoam through the car. I have checked power to the injectors and i have unplugged each one while the car is running and it reacts each time. I hear the pump prime. I checked the main relay its ok i even switched it out. What could it be? i have no CEL besides for needing a cat but thats unrelated. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks alot

Try checking your TPS voltage and make sure it's in check.

sounds like a bad fuel pres. regulator. pull the vacuum line off and smell it. If there is a gas smell or actual liquid gas - thats what it is.

pulled the vac line and i smelled a little gas it was dry though. I removed the FPR and saw that the little seal that goes in between the fpr and rail was torn so i replaced it. Im gonna let the car sit overnight and start it after its been sitting see if it does anything. The civic FPR bolted up but didnt sit flush so i wasnt able to swap it out.

Bump, old thread but im having the same problem. Mine is an 01 with 106k miles, it only does it on cold days on a cold start, the car starts then starts to die so i tap the gas, sometimes it has died on me though, once it warms up its fine tho.
