Default S2000 block open deck?

I have not seen any of these F20s taken apart yet and can not seem to find any pictures of the engine minus the head, to see if it has free standing cylinder bores like the B-series.

It's an open deck design like the B-series.

OK thanks. I was wondering how much turboed power the block could withstand, assuming you fit reasonably lower compression pistons and less extreme cams. What race shops do re-sleeving for the pro drag cars?

I reckon you could just get block-savers welded in?...little braces that go between the sleeve and the block jacket...depending on how much boost you want to run.
