Bummer guy, at least you are still alive and and not too banged up, except for the staples...I hope you get another S and then everything should be well again..

If it's totaled I'm not sure that I'll get another S2000. I want to buy a house, so this could be a good chance to lower my payment. Any suggestions?

Tell me if this makes sense. The initial estimate I got is 12 grand, but they have not looked at the frame, and will not do so til they begin work on the car. They said it would take 3 weeks to get the parts from Japan, then another 2.5 months to fix the car. That seems outrageous. The other thing is that they only put 1 rim on the estimate, and all 4 have at least some chunkage. Shouldn't they include money to at least repair the rims? They arent stock eioither, so I cant just get 1 new rim. I think they should replace all 4. Is this going to be a fight with the insurance co?

I posted this in kills also because I want responses...don't flame me.

Call your insurance company and meet an adjuster and have them itemize your car, under your watchful eye of course...that should fix it ....
