Why buy a Ferrari when you can get a Ferio and they a Ferrari Kit on it.. appears to be like the rear one but far form it in terms of quality etc.....

You do know that people have been getting their S2k's for $14-16k, right?

Granted, I'd only buy one as a second/third car, but the fact is, S2k's can be had for cheap. You can buy an 04-05 for the price of a new Si.

Anyway, I had rotas before, and they were pretty solid rims. I've never had a problem with them. I personally have no problems putting $100 rims on my ride. If they ever do make some for the S, I'll buy a set or two for the track.

the same principle of faking the funk stays but the significance is a lot greater with an entire car... especially when you're talking about a high caliber car that's more than just a piece of aluminum to roll on. cars like that are driving machines and as well as the usual status symbols.

an s2000 is not anything special. don't get me wrong. i love my car and i 110% respect it's capabilities. but it's not a supercar, it's not an exotic, it's not a luxury car. it falls UNDER the NSX... it's not on the same level. it's in the same class as a miata for christ sake. i'm not saying don't buy expensive wheels either. i for one wouldn't buy a cheap wheel if i know there was any PRACTICAL deficiency with it like reliability/longevity or fitment. i've had rotas on my previous cars. daily driven, etc etc no problems. a wheel is a wheel as long as it rolls and looks nice. why pay more for the "status symbol"

really though. Not to offend anyone, but, an s2000 isn't <U>that</U> great (i still really want one), it is a bang for the buck sports car. In a way, it is like rota, gives you the thrills of a real sports car for the fraction of the price, but is it a ferrari? a porsche? etc. don't really think so.

well, I couldn't find any good condition s2k's for 14-16k earlier this year, all that i found 12-18k were beat to hell, 100k+, salvaged or had multiple accidents,


doesn't matter on the price of the car, it depends how you build it, quality parts aren't cheap.
