Rolled the S2000
Low mph accident. Went off the road and hit some guide wires which lifted the front end and flipped it over. Car is totalled. The top held up a lot better than I thought it would.

Wow, for a rollover I would have expected worse, must have only rolled once
Can probably straighten out the windshield frame or weld in a new one (if you straighten it it will probably leak). Then get some body work done and looks like you spilled some oil, but assuming the engine didn't get hit, it doesn't look terrible.

The beauty of the S2000. It's one of the few convertibles that'll hold up like this. A solstice or a sky would completely collapse. Same with Miatas and Z3's, they don't hold up as well from I've seen in similar accidents.
Thankfully I didn't have a scratch on me. Its definitely freaky being upside down. It rolled onto the roof and stopped there. The tow company had to flip it back over. The insurance company called it a total loss and cut me a check. It was a fun car.
wow im just as amazed as the other guys to how it held up.
it really sucks but people need to keep these cars on the road though.its going to be a classic in future.

Having totaled my '07 a few months ago, I feel your loss. I'm not surprised by how well the A pillars fared though. The way you described the accident it sounds like it gently (instead of flying through the air movie-style) flipped over to lay on its roof and the a pillars never had to carry much more than the car's weight. The in the US a vehicle's roof has to carry at least 1.5 times the vehicle's weight.
