Please tell me this can't possibly be true.

My friend has an s2000 with a cold air intake, and got beat by 1/2 a car by a V6 six speed tiburon w/ a cold air intake and greddy dual exaust.

What do you all think has anyone seen this happen before?

If so I guess Tiburons are serious cars cause i always thought they were ****.

 

Your friend probably cann't drive. A car is only as fast as the person driving it.

 

was it really raped? did it really get screwed up the tailpipe? seriously, why was it 'raped'?

Yeah it seems like your friend cant drive worth ****. A 2003 Tiburon GT and a 03 s2000.

Your friend should have the keys to his S taken from him as he is not fit to drive it. If it only had the mods you mentioned and he lost (in a straight line!) then my 5 year old brother could really do better and his driving licence should be removed forthwith!

 

You sure those were the only mods to the Tiburon? Your friend must have been shifting at 6krpm or something.

 

Maybe your friend needs to realize that he doesnt have to shift when the other car does. The S can twist a little bit higher than the Shark. Tell him next time he races off the line to rev the S up to about 7500 or 8000 and dump the clutch, and make sure he revs it a little higher through the gears. I know first hand because I raced a brand new Tiburon a while back and he had the same stuff done; I had nothing. I wasted him all the way to 100 by about 6 or 7 cars............
