Which exhaust and intakes work for the 06 model s2? I recently bought a 06 and heard from friends that some of the intakes dont work. TIA

 

At this time I don't believe that there are any intakes that will fit due to the new placement of the intake air temp sensor. Check with Comptech...rumor has it they are actively working to put out an intake (think by this fall).

If you get an exhaust that is not full Ti, you can probably have it bent to fit. There is one section under the car where the pipe route is slightly different. But if you want a perfect fit without modification, you will have to wait...not sure if anyone is currently working on an '06 specific exhaust yet.

 

my friend just got his magnaflow exhaust on his 06.

and the Fujita SRI is out for the 06

I don't believe Magnaflow makes an '06 specific exhaust yet (at least their website does not list it yet). I'd bet your friend got a custom exhaust from a muffler shop using magnaflow muffler or had the cat-back '00-'05 magnaflow exhaust modified by the shop that installed it. Benefits of a custom exhaust other than noise would be unknown...many aftermarket exhausts actually reduce hp on the S2k...only a few either keep hp the same or increase hp.

Got a link for the Fujita SRI that specific for the '06? I've seen a few ads that say '00-'06 (same part number)...those will not work on an '06...the IAT was moved to the intake and the sellers are just too stupid to know that or too greedy to care.

..yea i think your right, i was there with him in the muffler shop. it was a magnaflow exhaust, but the guy brought the piping from the back or something. and my friend got to choose which exhaust tip he wanted. ill ask for pix asap

..if thats true then nevermind. i also saw ads which said 00-06 and i thought that was accurate. guess not then huh

 

the mugen intake will fit... AJ-R told me the J's whale **** will work too....
