i don't think honda will come out with a second generation s2000 unless they can figure out how to share platform but then it wont be a pure sport car anymore. profit margin for the s2k is not very high because nothing in the S is shared with any other cars except for the radio, light bulbs and some bolts.

I guess the you can say that the s2000's profit margin is not very high when compared to other "normal" cars. However, that does not mean the profits have been small.
