Default Push Start Bulb

Does anyone know the size/number of the bulb for the push start button? I want to replace it with a LED because the OEM bulb sucks...

Thanks.

I did find this...but it doesn't help when trying to find an aftermarket bulb for it. That just gives me the voltage and wattage of the bulb...

Cool. The next best thing to do would be to call them up or email them

it's a specialized bulb that you are not likely to find in a parts store. You have to order it from Honda.

If you're trying to replace it with a LED or bulb with different color, best bet is to remove it, measure the base and match it up.

they don't make them
The smallest they make is led T3
and the one is smaller still
I know I have LEd's and thought of swapping the led bulb into the old housing but the led is too big to fit into the hole
Also, my car has leds in other areas and if you could get one in there it would be weaker because an led lights only the direction it faces

Is it normal for the Push Start bulbs to go out? I have an 04 and 06 and neither has ever lit up before...

My 02's push start bulb lit up but has since gone out. It's normal.

Sucks all the work just to replace it and most owners don't worry about it.

I can't even seem to find the size. It may be a simple component led which I sell that you remove the old bulb and solder this one in its place. Email me at lightsonleds@gmail.com if you're interested. I'm an HT sponsor

Mine was out when I bought the car. I had plans on replacing it but after finding out it's nearly impossible I just deal with it.
