Possible to run the NX Incognito kit on my MY04? (papa, please chime in :P)
Situation is as follows:
I only want to run a 50-shot MAX on my S. I was originally going to run the NX EFI Import Kit, but as we all know, space is limited in the car (10 lb. bottle is too much space) and I really wanted a smaller, "hidden" kit.
In comes the Incognito kit, which runs for much cheaper than the EFI kit, has a much smaller bottle (1.4 lbs), and can be "hidden." Only problem is that its a dry kit.
How safe would this kit be to run on my car with a MAX of a 50-shot? What else would I need other than the usual (window switch, FPR switch, etc.)
Thanks

When it comes to modifying your engine for power...nothing is safe. There is always a risk.

the same precautions need to be taken with this kit as you would with a direct port kit... however i would suggest against this kit... dry shots are always iffy... you never know what you'll get...
you can still get a proper direct port system and then get a smaller nitrous bottle....

How is asking about nitrous in any way related to Fast and the Furious? I asked a valid question and didn't refer to nitrous as "NOZZZZZ"

please dont make useless responses like this...its not helping the thread starter, nor the topic any...
anyways, as long as you have the proper precautions onboard, and dont try to do it "cheaply" you'll be very fine. a basic a/f ratio guage will give u at least a decent monitor system on second by second happenings of your car, when your on the bottle, or even when ur off. but i would highly recommend a new ecu as well. there are quite a few choices (not really for the f20/22c motors) that will allow u to do a "high boost" vs low boost tune/program if you're boosting, and different tunes when you're on the bottle. i almost certain that the aem ems supports dry and wet shot kits, with bottle psi monitoring and a bottle heater control.
in synopsis, get an ems
