Offset question...
I know this has probably been covered before but i still dont understand which offsets fit S2ks...i found some rims that i want: Fronts are 17x8 with a +31 offset, and the rears are 17x9 with a +38 offset. Will these fit and how would it look? Would the wheels be flush with the fenders, QP? Help me out, im a new s2k owner
Its do-able but its not recommended. These offsets are way too aggressive, especially the fronts. You gonna have to stretch a 205-45-17 on the front and still, it will stick out about a 3/4 an inch. The rears, can be done if you run a stretch 235-40-17 tire. You would have to roll your rear fenders and relocate your bumper tab to do this set up + run some - camber.
Again, this set up is way too agressive to do, so I recommend a higher offset for you. The higher the offset, the better fitting it will be. Volks have a nice s2 sizing for us and they are +63 RR and +50 Fr. Although, you can go a lot lower in "et" than these recomendations, (I personally love low offsets and know how to make them work) the +63 and +50 set up is highly recommended.
