new to the s2000 and the forums here .
Hello I am new to honda tech and the s2k platform my name is Aaron Northstar and I just recently bought my 19 year old sister a 2006 s2000 .
As for me I own a 2011 mustang gt / I am not into the domestic vs import-tuner scene .
I respect any brand of car as long as the owner is a true car enthusiast .
To my question ----
What are the best NA modifications to get a 06 s2k into the low 13's or high 12's if any .

Differential/rear end upgrade, clutch, drag slicks, good driver, strip the car of extra weight, you could probably knock a second or more off the stock qmile without even going into the engine bay. Cat delete
We already have nitto dr's on it for the track .
Is it the diff or axels on this car that are the weak link?
Thanks to anyone who replies for the information.

+1 4.56 final drive richmond gears and slicks are good mods. Also since she has an 06+ she can reflash the ECU and get it retuned at a local shop using Hondata's FlashPro. Headers, intake, Cat delete, and exhaust will get you more. Just save the retune with FlashPro until the adders are all done.
If you are doing hard launches then the diff can go out. Look up Puddymod, Inlinepro R200, or there is a new mustang rear end swap.
Be warned though once you strengthen this the power just gets transfered to the next weak link and that is usually the tranny.
Best bang for buck is gonna be a re-gear of the rear end, you can have it strengthened up a bit at the same time. Don't even consider an R200 or other diff swap at this time. Look into Puddymod or comptech. A test pipe or hi-flow cat would be a pretty good power increase for the price as well. Other bolt-on's aren't going to get you anywhere fast, but the K&N intake is generally the best preforming one. You can modify the stock airbox to free up some power as well. And of course add on good tires and light wheels.

Nah man .
My little sister is my only family in the U.S our parents work over sea and have since I was In highschool / when I turned 18 our parents gave me rights as her legal gaurdian .
I treat her like a sister /daughter even if we are close in age .
She is a person I am responsible for .
I bought the car for her but I get my fair share of time in the drivers seat .
Well first and foremost, Welcome!
And I would have to agree with everyone else...its going to take a bit of work to hit 12's but I definitely would start off with some 4.56 or 4.77 gears. A good quality intake, header, test pipe, exhaust would also be nice and can get you there coupled up with some very sticky tires, less weight, and some good driving skills.
or you could invest in the Greddy turbo kit i have for sale, and it can get you there no problem
