New to this...
So guys, I've been planning to build another vehicle, but this time I want something with a body on it (see previous "buggy" thread so you don't think I'm wasting your time lol). I have always loved sevens, so I'm gonna be frequenting you guys for help on this one BECAUSE it will be f20c powered. The thing has already been about half built, which makes me a little nervous, but I will be double checking and finishing everything after I buy the build as it is. I don't have a lot of specific questions just yet, but I would like to gauge the difficulty of such an endeavor. Supposedly it includes the entire wiring harness, ecu, gauge cluster, and lots of other goodies, but can you guys thing of one thing inparticular that will give me lots of trouble? I'm sure there are bound to be some little quirks I need to know about beforehand, right? Thanks in advance. By the way, here is the project in question as it stands.

a friend of mines just did that with a miata engine... i'm really thinking of doing the same thing... a locost 7, fun rides man.. http://locostusa.com/
Oh, the guy who owns it currently did set it up as a seven, specifically a "coveland" seven (see below). What I will be doing is picking up where he left off, which I believe includes making the motor run. Now, I've taken an old civic motor and made it run from scratch in that other buggy I posted, but I'm entirely new to S2000s, and I'm just wanting to see what BIG problems you guys expect I'll run in to as I'm setting this thing up to run. I don't even own the thing yet, but I'm moving to Maryland and will need a project to bide my time
Just for your viewing pleasure, here is a 263HP version of the car I'm intending to build.

Of course, I'm planning to introduce a few mods to bring the s2000 up to par, and I was also wondering if you guys could throw out some useful power making mods to up the power RELIABLY.

So you are planning on running the S2000 motor with the S2000 ECU correct? Don't forget you will need to do something about the ECU immobilizer and you will also need the air pump.
Ecu Immobilizer and Air pump huh? Never heard of these, but I'll jot them down. But yes, I am planning on using the s2000 ecu with s2000 motor.
The S2000 ECU has an immobilizer built into it that connects to a receiver in the steering column, which senses your key being present. Without this the ECU will not allow the car to start.
The air that is pumped by the secondary air pump goes into the exhaust manifold to help complete the combustion of unburned gases during the warm up phase. This improves catalytic converter efficiency at a time when exhaust gases are quite rich. You don't need the pump, but with out it you will through a CEL.

Thanks for the info. The guy who currently owns the thing stripped everything from a donor car, so I imagine he took everything he needs to run it, or atleast I hope he did. I appreciate the help, guys.
