Default Need help raising height of s2k

so long story short I’m in the middle of adjusting the ride height of my s2k as the previous owner had it slammed. My problem that I’m running into is that once I loosen the lower spendel. When I try adjusting the height with the upper spendel it’s way to hard... I Un bolted the coil from the lower arm conection. Once I did that the coil was a lot easier to adjust. My problem now is that the lower arm won’t drop down any lower. Any help is appreciated!.

I am just browsing as I recently acquired an S2000. I have put springs and coil overs on a lot of Honda's and a few RWD cars with multi-link suspension. I often use the factory scissor jack to drop the lower control arm when it fits, trying to get the bottom (or top) on the arm, the other side on something solid that does not move. If it fits (don't know how tight it is on an S2000), it saves a bunch of time and energy so it is a go to method for me.

If the anti-sway bar is still attached, that could be preventing the movement on the control arm.
