does my lower control arm need replaced?
ok, my front passenger side wheel sits inwards, i posted about it already and got some replies,
but my question is...if the lower control arm was damaged from my accident would that cause the
sitting inward problem i'm having?
autozone sells the LCA for $190 so i don't wanna buy one unless i need to, i hope this
doesn't turn into a situation where i'll only know if i replace the part kinda thing...
please, suspension techs help me out here!!

Re: does my lower control arm need replaced?
really should not have made another thread about this.
these guys tried to help the best they could.
but without being there and actually looking at the car it is really hard to tell what it needs exactly.
all of the people saying replace it cant be 100% certain.
you said it was wrecked, something is bent obiviously. it could be the control arm, or the A arm, or the frame.
you need to test some parts and see. i wouldnt go buying something that expensive without knowing for sure what the issue is.
i hit a downed tree with my car one time, the wheel sat back alot in the fender well.
i changed the control arm, A arm and bushings and it didnt fix it completely. i had to hook it up to frame machine and pull the frame back out slightly.
