Ok I've had this problem for awhile. My s stumbles a little at idle its hard to notice, but I can feel it and its driving me crazy. And besides that the check engine light comes on and off. I took it to Honda and they told me it was diesel mixed in with my gas. How that happened I'll never know, but they wanted to charge me something like 1000 to do a fuel system cleaning. Well I said f that and did one myself. It helped for like 2 weeks and now the problem is back. I also changed the plugs and coil-packs on the car and the problem still exists. Anyone know what to do about this problem?

what CEL are you getting?

 

More than likely it's your injectors. Becoming more common as the cars age. Are your CEL codes P0300-P0304 and maybe P1399?

 

I was thinking injectors but I didn't know for sure. I don't know the exact code, all the dealer told me was that it was a mis-fire across all four cylinders.

 

Have you checked valve clearance? Tight valves will cause all sorts of problems. I'd start there since it wont cost you any more than a valve cover gasket if you do it yourself and have access to tools.
