Hello, Does anybody happen to know where i can get a list of CEL codes for a 2002 honda s2000.
I got into an accident two weeks ago and my whole left wheel and sussy was gone. Now my Power steering doesnt work and a check engine light is on. I jsut got the car back from the shop right now.
The car runs great! and i tried the battery disconnecting trick but it comes back on. ANy help would be greatly appreciated!

and by the way. The car doesnt make that whining noise naymore either when you first start it. And that is when the CEL comes on. Does that have anything to do with my power steering?
your best best, find someone who has a scanner...
easier that way...hook up the scanner, pull codes, ck actual values, try actuations, n repl. whatever it is....pullin codes w/o a scanner is old school

I pulled the code and it said it was P0141. "heatsensor" or something. Anybody know what that is?
That was the only code.
The engine runs perfect. and vtec engages fine. NO problems with overheating or anthing.

haha he must be really religeous... hahaha jk, i know u meant to say catalytic... ok theres two(2) O2 sensors... one that screws in the header and one that screws into the Cat... the one in the cat is the one thats bad... my advice to u is to do a visual first... jack the car up, put stands for added safety... unscrew the sensor, look at it, see if its melted or got a lot of build up on it... clean it off if it does, reinstall, reset ecu... and see if it throws it again... if the O2 sensor looks f'ed unclip it, go to the store, buy a new one and clip it back it... should be easy enough... its not a hard thing to do but just a pain in the ***... good luck and reply if u have any more ?'s
