SRRY! BUT IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION? YOU DO KNOW THE EXPENSE DIFFRENCE RIGHT? ITBS IS THE WAY TO GO BUT ABOUT 5K MORE THAT AN ARC INTAKE.
BUT YOUR GONNA MAKE POWER NOT LOSE IT

itb's are not 5k....they are a little under 2g'z i just sold my turbo kit for about 4600 so i got some money to spend...and i am not comparing the power difference...i know how much more poweri can make with those itb's that come with high volume fuel rail and injectors and fuel pressure regulator. i am just wondering..is it worth spending so much..or should i stick with the simple arc intake and pimp out the rest of my ride

how streetable are ITB's? I was always into them for tuning options, but i was never told if they are good for a daily drive

if you use a proper filter element, i'm sure i'd be fine. there are many cars in the world that actually have ITBs stock e46 m3 for example.

i sold my turbo kit...for various reasons.....none of which i feel like discussing...ITB's are good for street if you get the filter with it....if not....what ends up happening is alot of carbon build up on ur intake valves and they tend to get sticky....so like people said proper filter and you should be fine....my setup would defintely be my aem ems, my hks exhaust, i do not know what headers to go with and what intake to go with...i want the ARC but at the same time i want ITB's......so im stuck in the middle deciding...most probably its the ITB's since they are kind of on order already

most its i see required a stand alone computer to tune them. The arc intake is nice and doesn't required anything it look and fit very well in the s2k engine bay! i got one myself. if money is not a issue go with itb!

hard to find a tuner around here for ITB's...You would have to drive a descent amount to get to a tuner, so if anything happend i would be fucked.

Toda makes ITB's for the S right?

yes, there is a tuner who is very well known for N/A NSX's. I doubt he would have any problem tuning ITB's on our car. He works north of philly

Your way off here. The Toda ITBs (only ones I would even consider) are $3600 +shipping to the US. One car has them in the US and does not post on any of the boards. The Hayward ITBs are like $2500 (if that) and provide little to no gains as per a couple of my friends that have them tuned ( one of them Dan). So yeah they are close to $4000.
Just pick up the ARC intake and save some cash.
