Well I have an AP1 so it would be damn good for me, especially for DD.

The ASM car runs the 4.3, is that a good enough review? They don't need it any shorter for the track, you don't need it any longer for the street. It was just a recommedation. I drove an 06 with 4.57 + HonData and it was pretty short... too short.

wow, i was really set on getting the 4.77's just because their is no gear whine. i dont mind the extra rpm's. but you made it sound so short ! i'm looking for the most performance, so would the 4.44's be worth it ? 4.56's and 4.57's have a gear whine right ? i dont want any type of new noise on my car.

I was kinda against the 4.56/4.57R because there were supposedly no standard shims to get the recommended gear lash (gear whine? . They have since produced custom ones, so that's no longer a problem.

Does anyone have a comparison of 1/4 mile 1/8 mile times, with stock gears and one with 4.57r or 4.56 gears

i paid a guy on s2ki.com to cut my hood. he did a real real clean job on my hood. he first refused to do it. but with a lil begging and flashing some money..it did the trick.

the j's racing intake performance wise is noticable (but not alot) on the freeway ...u can feel it pick up a lil faster. i would think aem would make more power and is louder. but the reason i didnt go aem/injen intake is cuz it looks really ugly to me.

is it worth $1000?? hell no. but when i got my car i wanted j's racing intake/header/exhuast. ....and the only thing i need now is my 60rs fx exhuast.

fyi on the carb stickers. a suspicous cop or CHP will still ticket you despite the CARB stickers. You'll then go into court, show the judge the same **** and the judge wont believe you. He'll give you an extenstion to take your car to a smog ref to have it checked out...or you can pay a small fine and call it day. Don't ask me how I know that.

I have the aem v2. It might not be pretty, but I does add power you can feel for shure. Sounds great even with stock exhaust.

From what I've seen J's, ASM, type don't net the most HP they give you that instant throttle responce. If you are looking for bigger numbers then go with AEM, Injen types, but they take a little longer for the throttle to react and then come on strong in the later RPM band.

I think it's all what you want the car to feel like when it comes to intake's.
