How's S2000 in winter?
I am seriously considering to buy s2k but want to know how it handles in snow.? Of course I am going to put snow tires but I will be living in Michigan and it snows alot here. Any Michigan S2k owners? I am dying to buy s2k but if it is absolutely horrible in snow I have to go with options #2 which is the Evo or the STi
. Also I am 6'2 tall and will I be comfort in s2k during long trips? Also I don't have $ for winter beater, 2nd car(insurance will be high enuff for s2k)...Thanks guys

An evo or STI will both be a billion times more fun in the snow. I used to own a 2g eclipse GSX when i lived in colorado, oh man that thing was awesome in snow. The s2k is prolly really scary in the snow, the front is low, its rwd, and comes with summer only tires. Even with snow tires its gonna be a little tricky. However i cant really comment as ive never driven my s2k in the snow as it never snows here in san diego.

i suggest you test drive a s2k as you may not be comfortable in one. as for snow, i know it snows alot there. if its about 6 inches or under, our cars will be fine with snow tires. anymore and you better off with an sti or evo on snow tires

I drove slammed on snow tires just fine. No problems at all. Just take things easy and you will be fine. Snow tires are a must though.

i agree..i live in the snowbelt and my friend drives her car with a set of blizzaks on with no problems. like everyone has posted, snow tires is a must. also, you might want to test drive an S to make sure you are comfortable in the car.
