me and a friend tried to installed the DEI 530T window mod. on my06 and now the pass. side window doesn't work.
it goes down ONLY if you put the top down. otherwise I can't put it down. I can roll it up on driver side only. The switch on the pass. doesn't do anything.

Anyone have experience with installing the window modulator?
Its so you can auto roll down/up on both side etc.

sounds like you've knocked the window lock button on the driver side door.
someone else did this on here about a month ago. though they later went on to deny it...

 

Yeah it does sound like you just flipped the window lock switch. The top down switch overrides the lock so that would explain why it goes down with it locked.

If this is not the case, let us know where you mad the connections for the 530T.

 

^^ im not really sure where the connection went wrong. My friend does alarms for nissan dealerships so i was hoping he would know more then i did.
So I should check the window lock button wire to see if there is any problems?

my friend spliced the connection for the 530t and the pass. window doesnt go down as fast as the driver side. it only drops it 2 inches at a time instead of lowering it all the way.

you guys dont happen to have the service manual for the 06 by any chance? or wiring diagram would be great
