so after giving it lots of thought, I finally decided to get a brand new 07 S2k. I was deabting for a while over Evo/Sti/S2k and test drove all of them. Dont get me wrong Evo and Sti are awesome but S2k IMO is overall a better car. So heres my questions..

1.I know 07 is the last year for current S2k body and motor. Ive only seen concept pics and rumors about the next motor (2.4 K series being one of them). Am I gunna regret getting a 07 or should I just wait for the new design to come out. I know alot of Evo 8 owners who regret not waiting for the evo 9 haha.

2. I have my heart set on a white one. I was looking on hondas website and it says the white comes with red/black interior? My buddy has a s2k with tan interior and it really grew on me. 2 options for interior color? or just black/red for 07?

I dont think any official pics for the new s2k have ben relased, just concept pics. I would just go ahead and get the 2007 one you want. btw white is a sexy color.. with the hardtop

yea white is sexy. How much do the hard tops go for? I was set on white but after looking at some red and blue S2ks and I cant decide haha.. Even like the black ones too.. silver ummm.... haha dang. I gotta really think about it before I start getting serious about getting one in like 2-3 weeks

yea I know that would be the only reason I would wait.. But after seeing all the new concept drawings (not just S2k, evo and sti too) Im pretty sure the looks of the 07 will make up for the non K swap (if the new s2k comes with em)

 

yea K's are GAME OVER... built they are very very worth it.... after my homies K24 hatch was done i was hooked.. but im poor so i can tmange it for my EJ and maintain my S2k.. maybe i should jsut sell the S.....

new evos adn STI's? umm imm a have to see these

I think the oem hardtops go for about 3K but well worth it. Looks awesome with it. I would get a white one or a black one, but thats me. Its your car so decide on a color you really like. You dont want to be paying for a color you stop liking in a few months haha

 

i thought honda was going to discontinue s2000s?

damn i was really lookin into geting 1 cuz i love owning cars that arent made anymore

Doubt it. Maybe just a rename and redisgn. s2000 was supposed to be over in 04 and 05 and 06 and now 07.

Then you know more then the rest of the S2000 community. I have been here since 2001 and we have heard this rumor EVERY year since.

I guess I might be going by a rumor then. Just read a article on yahoo searching

 

2007 s2000's came with all black interior if i don't remember correctly.

 

OP what kinda loan are you going to get? downpayment?
