Default HELP!!! AP1 bent frame? Or..

I bought an AP1 about 3 month ago privately and made the huge mistake of not getting a vehicle history report prior to the purchase. I got suspicious weeks into driving the car when I started noticing the interior panels not lining up correctly and the soft top didn’t line up perfectly either among other clues. I ran a car fax and it turns out the car was totaled a few years ago in Georgia, then re-registered in Florida with a clean title months later?? Now I put myself through college while working at Honda in 1999 thru 2004 so I know how a brand new S2000 is suppose to feel, and here’s my issue. I began to notice that whenever I give the car gas the vehicle aims its nose toward the left slightly and as soon as I let go of the gas it straightens back up. Could this be caused by a bent frame? Keep in mind that there are no alignment issues, meaning that the steering wheel is dead on 12 o’clock, there are no shakes, and the car does not lean in any direction. It’s only when I step on the gas that the car starts going toward the left, I can correct it while I’m on the gas and keep the car straight but as soon as I let off the gas I have to re adjust the steering wheel to compensate. What else could this be if not structural damage? Please help!!

i had this problem... check your tires... if they are worn itll make the car tend to wander... also, get an alignment... even if the steering wheel is nuts dead on, it doesnt mean the actually numbers will be... check back when you do these 2 things...

It may just be a bad LSD in the diff and only one wheel is locking up.

Classic symptoms of uneven tire pressure in the rear. In an S2000, you can easily feel a 2 PSI difference from side to side. Check air pressure first.

mine was doing that with brand new tires on the back.. turns out one tire was slightly bigger than the other. They warrantied the tires and problem was solved.

+1 Ya sounds like a tire issue. Either pressure or uneven. Don't sound like LSD if the turn is slightly only.
