Headunit issues?
Anybody elses stock headunits totally suck? mine skips terribly, and flat out wont play CD's sometimes.. It's not the CD's..
I may just get an aftermarket cdplayer for it.. Has anybody had any issues with 3rd party headunits?
What about the remote controls to the left of the steering wheel? Is there some sort of harness for it? Would a plce like best buy be able to hook it up, with those controls?
Thanks guys, I did search but couldn't find the exact answers I was looking for.
Thanks.

the older alpine headunits are really good. Pioneer makes good stuff also. Look up modifry on s2ki if you want to keep the left side controls.
So it's kind of a bitch to keep those lefty controls? I assume?
My friendly neighborhood bestbuy couldn't get it working?
Just checking this stuff out before I jump into anything

I have an Apine IDX-001 with an Ipod connected. A pair of MBquart QM218.61 speakers. A Boston Acoustics Pro 10.5 LF Subwoofer. And driving them a Phoenix Gold 475 Ti running active cross overs and a Phoenix Xenon 600.1 for the sub. All have 24 db/ octave crossovers. Perfect Balanced sound
