Header for S2000
The prices are high (most headers start at $950) and the gains are minimal. The primary advantage to the aftermarket headers is the weight saving. Again, I am generalizing but in the neighborhood of six pounds. Popular opinion appears to favor the Spoon and Mugen pieces. Since most of the headers are offered around a grand (or a lot more!) and as a bolt on a single digit gain is expected (or none in some cases) I feel you'd have to be pretty hardcore to go this route.
DC, Comptech, Spoon, Speed, Mugen, and a few others are available. Out of close to a hundred owners that I have met in Oregon, Washington, and Vancouver, BC 4 have after market headers. Two of those own shops selling the product.
I feel that any real gains on the S2000 would require forced induction, or internal work/fuel tuning/I/H/E combo. The stock system is very well designed, and there really isn't much room to improve with the basic bolts ons.

I have a DC Sports SS header. The reason I went with DC Sports is because I have a supercharger, and wanted something to free up the exhaust just a lil more. I couldn't justify spending $1000+ just to do that. If you're planning on a header, go with either Spoon or Mugen.
