Default Got hit today

i was backing out o a parking space and my rear was side swiped by a speeding ford tempo piloted by a Mexican citizen who didn't have insurance or a valid us/az drivers license.

Hopefully he will honor his word and pay for all damages
rear bumper is shifted over about .5 of an inch,..

any one got an ap1 oem sebring silver rear bumper?

pics will be up later.

I don't agree with some of the ways immigrants are treated, but this is perfect example of why they should not be allowed to be reside in the USA without proper documentation and processing. It sounds sad, but that is just how it is.

They are very hard workers and do things that none of us dream of doing, but this just can't be happening. Good luck with the fix man.

Hate to tell you this, but your at fault. Plain and simple

My credentials? I'm an insurance claims representative. Since you were backing up out of a spot, your suppose to be yielding to other cars regardless of speed. Him not having insurance is defintiely a plus on your side, but your premium WILL in deed go up and you will be held @ full liability of the accident. Sorry man

HMM talked to a few people in the insurance game. its not worth it to go thropugh my insurance. i just have to hope he keeps his word... he is suppose to have 200 bucks on wed to start out.

doesn't look like any metal is bent jus a few broken clips and a new rear bumper (320 from the dealership)
i can install and fit it myself anyone know how much to paint a rear bumper (oem quality job)

You hope he will "honor his word?" I really hope you're right. But driving without a valid license or US citizenship doesn't indicate too much hope of "honoring" anything later.

Did you get a confirmed address or something where you can locate him?

Just because he's a Mexican Citizen doesn't mean he's an illegal immigrant you ignorant fool.

I'm a British Citizen, and I live in the US, and I have a green card, I'm a permanent resident, I have a drivers license, and so on, and I have no desire nor want to have US citizenship even though I can get it. But I'm not illegal , so you can't assume this guy is illegal just because he's a Mexican Citizen.

in this case the assumption is correct and if i were a betting man i'd always bet on illegal.

If he's illegal, your hotel shouldn't have hired him.

And "always bet on illegal" = ignorant.

the hiring practices of y hotel though flawed have nothing to do with the issuse at hand.
as for the bet comment. there are far more illegal mexicans in phx then legal (card carriers) so how is saying it ignorant
