Know any good engine shops near Jax,Fl. My rev limiter fell asleep on me the other day, now the s2k has a loud knocking sound coming from the side of the block. Might as well spend the money on some good stuff.

 

I am in Jax too and the only good shop I know of is Honda. I wisjh I knew of a better place, but at least I can sort of trust them

mine feel asleep other day, wouldnt let me go into first try. kinda scared me, but it sucks yours went into red line. 9k is alot of revs. does the S have a vtec block at idle?

In layman's terms, you over-revved it.
